AbbVie Grant Supports CASA in North Chicago

The AbbVie Foundation has committed $25,000 in funding to support the work of CASA Lake County's volunteers working with North Chicago children in the Lake County protective care system.

AbbVie's commitment will ensure that CASA is able to provide essential one-on-one advocacy for 25-30 foster children over the next year. With AbbVie's help, CASA volunteers will ensure that these children receive necessary services to address their educational, medical, and emotional needs all while working toward a goal of finding a safe, permanent home as expeditiously as possible. When children find permanency, they can begin the next chapter of their lives with an opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
