We are so thankful to everyone who attended or made a gift in support of CASA Lake County’s 2025 Gala on Friday, September 12. Together, you helped raise $394,189 for CASA programs! These funds will allow us to recruit, train, and support additional volunteers so that at least 157 more children in foster care will have an advocate by their side in the coming year.
We were also honored to recognize Trustmark as the Terri Zenner Award Honoree for their 20+ years of dedicated partnership. As CASA’s single largest corporate donor, their ongoing commitment has made a tremendous difference for children in Lake County.
Former foster youth Kestra shared a moving perspective from her own time in Lake County foster care and the experiences of her siblings. She reminded us all of a powerful truth: every child needs someone they can trust and a little bit of help.
